About

Our Philosophy

Here at Precious Moments, our philosophy is to provide a warm, nurturing, comfortable and safe environment for our children. We offer a child-initiated play-based curriculum that fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy, and acceptance of individual differences. We believe that children are a direct representation of their environment therefore all staff and children will be treated with gentleness, honesty, and respect and thus thriving emotionally, socially, physically, and cognitively. We encourage all children to treat others in this manner.

Meet Our Staff

We are a mother-daughter team who have been operating together since the Spring of 2017. Endza opened the doors to Precious Moments with the guidance of her daughter, Lori. After Lori gained experience, she took ownership in the Spring of 2022 and Endza now works as the assistant. Continue reading to get to know us better!

Endza Abdalian

Endza has always found a way to be involved with children. Endza used to work at John Hancock Insurance Company, but she was always connected to children one way or another. Having come from a large family, she was always favorited by the kids in the family. Endza was a teacher at St. James Armenian Saturday School in the 90s. Unfortunately, a medical issue caused an abrupt end to her career at JH but as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. Her leave from John Hancock lead her to becoming a nanny, which then lead her to being an assistant at a family child care in Watertown for nearly 10 years where she was loved by all. After raising her two daughters, she decided to open her own Family Childcare, which is when Precious Moments was founded. Endza provides nurturing care towards all the children, helping with activities, and cooking delicious homemade healthy meals. Endza’s wish for the kids at Precious Moments is for them to feel loved and cared for.

Lori Abdalian

Lori has an undeniable love for children which began at a very young age. Lori recalls ‘helping’ her preschool teachers when a student was having a difficult time. There is no question that Endza’s passion for children has been passed down to Lori. Having grown up watching Endza, Lori’s years of natural gravitation towards kids has helped shape her into the loving, patient, and understanding caregiver she is now. During Lori’s school years she babysat family, family friends and many others.

Lori obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Regis College in 2016. As many recent college graduates find themselves, Lori was struggling with her next move. That is until Endza decided that with her experience in childcare, and Lori’s young and exploring mind, they would open a family childcare of their own. After five years of working as an assistant, Lori took ownership of Precious Moments in May of 2022. Lori provides exceptional care and love towards every single child who enters the doors at Precious Moments. Loris goals as Director is for every child to feel safe and loved, and for them to have the ability to explore the world as their minds and personalities grow, all while having FUN!
